Ava | 7 days old | Mauston Newborn Photographer

I am always so honored to be asked to photograph client's newborns. The newborn stage passes so fast and it is a precious memory to have.  Newborn photography has always been one of my favorite and one of the hardest subjects to photograph.  It may look easy in photos, but it is truly far from easy and takes time and patience. On average, my newborn sessions are typically around 3 hours.  I prefer to see little ones around 10 days old or less.  Miss Ava was 7 days old when I got to photograph her.  She is just a sweet, little peanut.  Perfect skin and gorgeous hair. Her daddy is in the military and we wanted to do something to honor him. Thank you for your service by the way.  How fitting that this little darling has the last name of Darling. Ava's mom loves the color yellow, so we had to incorporate some yellow in here for her too. Here is a sneak at her newborn session.
